The HP EliteBook Folio isn’t the most powerful laptop you’ve seen or used, but it’s very portable with a design that the company may improve in the future with more capable hardware. At only 12.4-mm (0.49-inch) thin and weighing a little less than 2.2 pounds, the new machine is the thinnest and lightest HP ever introduced to the market For tech specs, the 12.5-inch device comes standard with a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution display without touch, but there is also the option of an edge-to-edge 4K (3840 x 2160) UHD glass display with amazing color representations, but not the best, with an incredible 352 PPI (pixels per inch). The HP EliteBook Folio runs the latest Skylake sixth-gen Intel Core M processors with the choice of a Core M3, M5, or M7, and 8GB of memory. Storage capacity will vary on models from a 128GB to a 512GB SSD. While on the new HP’s laptop you won’t doing a lot of heavy video editing or graphic-intensive big games, the EliteBook Folio can handle the Ultra HD display and you will be able to get your work done. Although the IO ports are limited on this aluminum machine, you will get two USB Type-C ports with support for Thurderbolt and headphone jack on the side. Charging obviously will happen through the USB port and a single change should last for about 10 hours thanks to Intel’s Core M processors, for everything else you will need to get an adapter. HP is going big on design, the EliteBook Folio features a polished diamond-cut, sleek edges, and a CNC aluminum body that provides style, lightweight, strength, and durability. At first glance it would remind you to an Apple’s MacBook or even a Dell’s XPS 13 laptop. The new Windows 10 laptop from HP doesn’t flip 360 degrees, but you can tilt the screen 180 degrees for some reason.
