According to a few leaked marketing images published by Giga.de, the PC maker is planning to launch a new XPS 12 2-in-1 hybrid tablet running Windows 10, which undeniably looks very similar to the Microsoft Surface Pro 3. The Dell XPS 12 will feature a magnetic connection to attach the keyboard. The cover with the keyboard will also feature illumination for low-or-no light settings.
The device will also feature a 3840 x 2160 pixels (4K) resolution infinity display, identical to the one found in the new Dell XPS 15. Additionally, the Dell XPS 12 2-in-1 will come with a Thunderbolt 3 port, 8-megapixel back-facing and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. One of the slides reveals that the tablet will deliver 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. At this point, we don’t know the processor Dell will be choosing for this device or the amount of RAM or storage.
